Join our networks to share learning, connect with peers and discuss proposed changes to the 360Giving Data Standard

Networks

Our networks are safe spaces to share learning, connect with peers and to discuss proposed changes and updates to the 360Giving Data Standard. We aim for all of our networks to be supportive environments which encourage better data availability and use in the civil society sector.

Data Specialists Network

Our Data Specialists Network is a space for those working with charitable data to connect with peers, discuss data topics and work on shared problems together, through regular meetups and an online network.

Our meetups provide an opportunity for colleagues to hear from interesting speakers – from within the network or external organisations – who work with data, and also gives those who are interested in our tools and Standard Development an opportunity to feed into the work that we are doing. The online peer network is a supportive platform for colleagues to ask questions, share ideas and resources and build connections with each other.

This network is open to anyone who is a data specialist working in a funder, charity or civil society organisation. To find out more about joining, email info@threesixtygiving.org

Data Champions Alumni

The Data Champions alumni network is a group for those who have taken part in our popular programme, Data Champions. All previous participants of Data Champions are welcome to join this group, which is hosted in collaboration with DataKind UK

At our quarterly Data Champions alumni sessions, attendees explore data-related topics from the do’s and don’ts of statistics to exploring open datasets. They provide an opportunity to catch up with peers, share resources and hear from data experts working in the sector. For Data Champions wanting to join the Alumni network, email info@threesixtygiving.org.

Grants to Individuals Steering Group

Working alongside the Association of Charitable Organisations and the Grantmakers’ Alliance, 360Giving convenes a Grants to Individuals steering group. Its role is to oversee and support a programme of work for the implementation of grants to individuals to the 360Giving Data Standard and support for grantmakers to publish and use their data.

To find out more about why we are developing the 360Giving Data Standard to reflect a wider range of grants, read our blog on the grants to individuals project.
