Are you interested in improving charitable giving? We are seeking a new Chief Executive Officer to lead 360Giving in our crucial next phase.
360Giving is an award-winning initiative that is creating positive change in UK philanthropy. We support organisations to publish their grants data openly and help people to understand and use the data for better decision-making and learning across the charitable giving sector.
We maintain an open data standard and help funders publish their grants data to it. We also produce tools and platforms that help to explore the information that’s being shared, and run events and peer-learning networks to help our community of funders to be more data-enabled and data-informed.
360Giving was set up in 2014 because our founder, philanthropist Fran Perrin, couldn’t find the information she needed to inform her own grantmaking decisions.
As CEO you have overall responsibility for all aspects of managing the organisation, furthering our mission, and working with and reporting to the board.
We are seeking a candidate who has worked within or is familiar with the grantmaking sector and has an interest in open data and its potential. As primary ambassador for the organisation you will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to build relationships with key partners, including at senior levels within government and in trusts and foundations. As leader, you will have experience of financial and operational management and fundraising.
